You've Always Gotten By In The Past

That is true. A lot of small businesses have gotten by for years or decades without managed IT. But the same reasoning can be used for seatbelts. Yes, we do. Most Managed Service Providers (MSP's) drop any support for legacy customers that are more comfortable with the old model. We don't agree with that. But, keep in mind, when you call for support your incident will be handled as a lower priority than incidents for customers who are paying monthly for a Service Level Agreement (SLA).

We will still get to you as soon as we can, but we have to treat both models differently. When you opt out of the MSP model, you assume a level of risk, whereas BitStar assumes the risk for its Managed Services customers.

Each Managed Services customer gets a custom-tailored, month-to-month agreement that guarantees numerous services. Below are the highlights, but each agreement with each client is unique.

  • Internet, Network, & WiFi

    The backbone of any modern company is its connection to the internet. We monitor your internet connection 24/7 and manage the relationship with your ISP. We also ensure the functionality of your network, including your business and guest WiFi networks.

  • Computers & Servers

    We manage your Windows PC's and Servers, ensuring they are up to date, each hardware component is healthy, your machines are secure and free of any virus or ransomware threats, and the files and data you use daily are backed up off site.

  • Software, Email & Website

    We provide full support for the basic, core business productivity platforms. This includes your email client, Microsoft Office suite, your PDF reader, and your browser. This is the minimum set of programs that every small business in America needs to operate. We also manage your website and domain name.

  • Audio/Video & Phones

    We support your audio/video systems, ensuring their network connectivity and connection to power in order to prevent issues before that important teleconference or board meeting presentation. Your phone system is also tied to the internet and requires that certain firewall settings and protocols are always working.

  • Monitoring

    The common theme in these categories is monitoring. Just like a sick patient in a hospital, we connect our diagnostic and monitoring systems to your network, server, computers, internet connection, and more in order to respond immediately when trouble starts.

  • Reporting

    Along with monitoring, we generate reports from our trouble ticketing system, your anti-virus system, your off-site data backup system, your website and domain traffic, and more to give you regular feedback about what is working well and what needs improvement.
